No thanks.

GAD affects 6.8 million adults, or 3.1% of the U.S. population. Women are twice as likely to be affected as men.

Okay, so here’s my idea.

lost-cause:

Green is the color for mental health awareness.  If I made an event to wear green on October 8, would anyone invite their friend’s and post it to their walls and stuff?  I’d like for this to be as big as we can make it by the 8th.  Message me if you’d be interested in participating and if you have any other ideas of how to publicize it.  Of course, we’d post on tumblr too.

I’d totally do that. Hope I’m not too late to jump onto this.

Listen, I’ve been where you’ve been.

I’ve cut where you’ve cut. I’ve thought probably some of the same exact thing you’re thinking right now.

This needs to stop. But i know how hard it is.

like this post, or message me, anon or not, and i’ll answer you on private.

i will stay up as late as need be, because i know that the early morning hours are the hardest.

like this if you’re feeling alone, like you have nothing to look forward too.

I love that people on Tumblr can be so great sometimes.

Please take this person up on that. Reblog her original post, if you need somebody to talk to and want to take her up on this offer, and if you would also like to talk to me, please just stick a note in the ask box or something.

Submissions for this blog are aways welcome, still. I’m really hoping that people start using the submit feature. I do want to create a good community on Tumblr for those who struggle with anxiety and other similar challenges.

Good thing to remember for anybody. Especially for people struggling with depression and anxiety.
It gets better.
